Aerial Photography

Qasco operates aircraft which are custom-fitted for aerial survey work. Each aircraft is crewed by a professional pilot and navigator experienced in the planning and execution of aerial survey projects.

The flight crews are supported by geospatial mapping and survey professionals with experience in the planning and execution of aerial photography. We can tailor a mapping solution to meet your specific needs.

Our aircraft are fitted with Leica high resolution aerial survey cameras that include forward motion compensation (FMC) and are controlled by an airborne GPS flight management system. These cameras are state-of-the-art in the commercial aerial photography field and produce imagery of high quality and clarity.

Photographic processing and printing is carried out in our fully equipped laboratory in Brisbane. Qasco is the sole Australian provider of helicopter mapping surveys, which are most suited to low-altitude, high-accuracy projects where safety and/or accessibility for ground crews is compromised.

Qasco maintains an extensive aerial photography library with photography spanning the past 50 years. We also have access to flight diagrams of Commonwealth and State Government photography.
