As
a leader in the Australian spatial industry, Qasco recognises our staff
as the cornerstone of our success and provide an environment where
skill, motivation and drive are encouraged and rewarded. The Qasco team
is diverse and multidisciplinary, consisting of surveyors,
photogrammetrists, pilots, navigators, photographic and digital imagery
experts and project managers. Our technical skills are ably supported
by a committed team of management and administrative staff.
Qasco
enjoys relations with several universities in Germany. Many German
survey students have spent months or even years working with us in a
mutually beneficial relationship. Two related articles appeared
recently in the March 2009 edition of the Stuttgart University
newspaper detailing the pros and cons of working abroad in Australia.
"Working Down
Under" (200 KB PDF) is a general informative piece written by
Qasco Director David Sinclair. "Quo Vadis"
(140 KB PDF) was written in German by Esther Schmidt, a Surveying and
Geoinformatics student at the University of Applied Sciences,
Stuttgart. Esther worked with Qasco in the Brisbane office from March -
September 2003. Frank Ottersberg has provided an English translation
(12 KB PDF). For the Stuttgart University website, visit the Links page. To view the entire
newspaper PDF, visit the Downloads
